JoAnna Knight
Waldorf Enrichment Program Director

JoAnna Knight has been educating children for over 18 years. She originally discovered her passion and love for teaching after graduating high school and attended CSN and worked towards an Elementary Education degree, while working as a swim instructor at a local children’s swim school. During her time of studying she also managed Clark County Safekey programs and after school enrichment programs. Having children of her own;  two wonderful sons, inspired her interests in Early childhood education. In 2013 She received her Early Childhood Education Certification III, through International Childcare College in New South Wales, where she taught the Waldorf inspired method at a preschool for 4 years before moving back to Las Vegas, Nevada with her family.  Upon returning to Nevada, JoAnna was immediately hired as a lead classroom teacher at a private Preparatory school for Pre K and Junior Kindergarten where she faithfully taught for 6 years. Throughout her teaching career she went onto managing a small private swim instructing business that is shared with her husband and herself. JoAnna appreciates the relationships that are built that come from her passion of teaching over the years. It’s an extension of family to her. She is thrilled to be the Waldorf program director at Skyluna and looks forward to new challenges, innovative ways of educating and all the new beautiful families she will encounter.
